LOVING PRESENCE
Loving Presence is a State of Mind
There IS A BASIC FREEDOM THAT COMES from relaxing our attachments to who we think we are and how things should be.
When we judge less and allow more there is:
- a lightness of being
- a new peacefulness
- a feeling of spaciousness that makes room for humor and compassion.
Being in this calm, clear, loving state of mind is not just something we do to be better friends or parents or therapists. It is a spiritual practice, a path to liberation. It creates a sacred space in which both the person suffering, and the helper or support person are nourished. This space is the heart of healing.
This spacious mind is about celebrating mystery and humor and a Self beyond the limits of the ordinary ego. It involves acting without always needing to control events or being attached to particular outcomes. We become more happy, sensitive and open.
